I am attending Cumberland University and I am enrolled in their Pre-Veterinary program. Graphic Design is a hobby and something I enjoy.

I don't think I would enjoy doing it as a living because I feel it defeats the purpose. I create things that come into my imagination and work towards making something I love. I'm not to good at making things for other people to love.

College

Thu Nov 12, 2009, 1:19 AM
College is the most important part of a life. Not just attending, however the choice of college. One can choose to go and one can choose to start working right away. No matter how one looks at it college is a significant factor in a life and can drastically change the outcome of a future.

The application process is the best part. One gets to spend time filling out an application, then send a check of varying prices for the application to even be considered. Afterwards one finds out that high school never sent the official transcript, even after the written requests. After that, comes another phone call which for some reason places doubt on the intelligence of college.

Said person has yet to graduate, even though said person is no longer in school. Next that application fee is no where to be found, which involves minutes on hold and scavenging records and papers to find a receipt. Last said person is said to be coming from another college, even though college still thinks this person is in high school. However, it all gets straightened out and the wait comes for a letter in the mail that lets one know if the fruits of labor paid off.

In said persons case acceptance was given and excitement ensues. A vast amount of thoughts enters the mind. How will it be paid for? What will said persons major be? Where will residence be taken? Are all of these answers certain? There is no room for doubt however doubt hogs all the space. Will this major change halfway through college? Will parents pay for all or some? Will a job be required on top of study? All questions which need answers, yet some seem answerless.

All doubts aside there is much hype about the experience college offers. Not only in the profession one strives for, but the events that occur while attaining skills for it. There are frat houses and parties and other distractions which put this profession at risk, yet there is a balance that allows it all to work out. One can expect to spend most of college trying to find this balance.

its no problem. You have a great talent for advertisements. Are they all commission work or just playing around in Photoshop?
